Questionmarks 01 – Violence in media
The subject of the first broadcast of the Questionmarks is the presence of violence in the entertainment industry. We analyze the theme in historical aspects (gladiators, medieval tournaments etc.) and in the current context (horror movies, video games etc.) too. Our main goal is to discuss the purpose and portrayal of violence in the products of the entertaining industry. Can violence in itself be entertaining? Is it ethical to show violent scenes without a purpose? And what about the Tarantino-movies? Listen to our opinions!
